Peyton: DAD! Tell the kids to stop calling Sloan fat!
Mollen and Charter: WE DON'T CALL HER FAT!

Sloan: Umm, they don't call me fat. And besides, I...    Never mind... I'll tell you later downstairs.

Mom: Excuse me? What do you need to tell her in private?

Sloan: Well, it kind of needs to be said in a high pitched annoying voice.

We all glance at Dad. He's not in the best mood, and we all know that Sloan is smart for not doing anything high pitched and/or annoying in his presence.

Mom: Well, could you tell me now? In a normal voice? Even if you just have to say it in an annoying voice later?

Sloan: Kay... " I hate it when other people fight my own battles"
