I can handle that!
First, you need a HUGE bowl... Ours is about a foot tall with a diameter of one and a half feet. It fit perfectly. If you A. are making dessert for less than 17. B. Making dessert for 17 people who are deciding to eat lightly or are on a diet (Actually, if thats the case... Don't make this... Make fruit salad) Or C. Have a giant glass bowl, it looks prettier in glass bowl, use a glass bowl if you have one.
Next, you fill the bowl:
Layer 1: just over half of a 9 by 13 cake, cut into small cubes.
Layer 2: 1 package of instant chocolate pudding.
Layer 3: 1 package of Oreo instant pudding.
Layer 4: 2 cups of whipped cream, slightly sweetened and 1 crushed skor bar.
Layer 5: The remainer of the cubed cake.
Layer 6: Another package of chocolate instant pudding.
Layer 7: Another package of Oreo instant pudding.
Layer 8: 1 cup of whipped cream, slightly sweetened.
Layer 9: 3 crushed skor bars sprinkled on the top.
I titled this "Dessert for 17" but it could also pass as, "Sloan's birthday cake". Or "Dessert for 100."

*Driving home from the park*
Mom: EVERYONE CAN HAVE A FREEZIE WHEN WE GET HOME!!!"
All members of the back seat at once, "OOOHH! You bought freezies?!"
Mom: No, but there is a box of them down stairs. Dad must have picked them up...
Me: Uhh, me and sloan bought those with her gift card.
Mom: Oh...
I gave one to Gage the other day...
SORRY GUYS, THOSE ARE THE GIRLS... YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE!

So, while at the park as mentioned yesterday, there was a chinese church group also meeting there. We ate lunch, they had their own picnic... No one was bothered by anyone.
Until Mom broke out the oreo cookies.
There was this little boy playing near us (He belonged to the chinese church group) and as soon as the bag of cookies opened, he decided that we should be best friends.
At first he just walked around our blanket... Occasionally kicking our ball, inspecting Gage's tricicle.... Then he tuged at Mom's skirt and held up his hand for a cookie. Mom didn't know what to do. What if he was allergic to something in the oreos? What if his mom didn't want him eating cookies given to him by strangers? Obviously it was not a wise decision to give this child a cookie.
But he was so awfully cute. How could anyone say no?
So, instead of dealing with the issue, my mom pranced around the picnic blanket, keeping the box of oreos out of the reach of tiny hands. She went around once, the little boy followed her. She ran around the other way, so did he, laughing and giggling at this fun game.
All this time, my mom is trying to communicate with this boy that if he asks his mom, she will give him a cookie. Its not working. (It was a chinese speaking church, and some members were not very fluent in english)
Finally, I look him right in the face and say slowly, "Go ask your mommy first. Then you can have one."
All of a sudden, a worried look comes into his eyes. He exclaims, "Mooooommmmyy!" And runs back to his family.
We decide maybe it would be best to dispose of the cookies quickly, before anyone else wants one.
So I did.
The End

"Living in a big family is like living in a big canyon... It echos."
The other day we were driving to meet a friend at a park. I glance out the window and notice a red minivan next to us, "Oh, for a second I thought that was Fawne! I guess its not though, since there is a man driving!"
Not five minutes later, we hear from the back seat,
"HEY! I think I see FAWNE! Isn't that her car? The red one right beside us?!"
"No! Cai already said that! There is a man driving, so its for sure not Fawne!"
"Oh..."

"HEY!!! THAT'S FAWNE RIGHT NEXT TO US!!! IS THAT RED VAN HER CAR??!!!"

Me and Gage were in my bed... I am reading and he is supposed to be sleeping. For some reason, he takes his pillow and hits me with it.
"Gage, lie down."
Whack.
"Stop it!"
Whack.
"You little fart face!"
"HUMPH!!! CAI-ROO!!!"
This is my favourite part... the part where the truth comes out... Still in his angry voice,
"GRR! I STILL LIKE YOU A LITTLE BIT!!!"

CRAP! I'm in my underwear!
The other night, me and Sloan were babysitting. Upon arriving home, the lady we babysat for (who is one of my moms friends) came to the door to say 'hi' to my mom. When I walked in the door, my mom was upstairs putting Gagey to bed and my dad was in the living room talking on the phone.
**in his underwear**
I was like, "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMM.... DAAD!! You don't have any clothes on!!!!!!"
He just looked up as if thinking, "What? You've never seen me naked before?" Then he noticed me and Sloan were not the only people at the door. (The other person, I think its safe to say, has never seen my Dad naked before)
"OOH! I'm in my underwears!!!" He said to whoever he was on the phone with. (At this point, I start laughing uncontrollably and wondering : A. What the person on the phone is thinking and B. whether or not my moms friend has the same view I have. (I think not))
My dad quickly ducked behind a wall, all the while keeping up his phone conversation.
Later that night, while I was still laughing, my dad says, "Well, if you think its so funny, why don't you just BLOG it?" (You know, cause I like blogging funny to me, embarrassing to other family members stories)
"Sorry, dad. I don't think I could describe the look of pure shock and horror on your face." (On the other hand, thanks for your permission.... I think I just might)

dressing up
I found this pretty dress...
I wanted to get a pretty dress to wear for my cousins wedding next week...
Only thing is, I'm not sure this is the perfect dress..
Its not really expensive, but since its so fancy, I don't know how often I'll wear it... (Other than my other cousins wedding in the fall...)
I hate making decisions...
