love pats

Mom was sitting on the couch nursing Ephraim and Gage was sitting beside her patting (Hitting) her arm.
"Gagey, don't hit mama!"
He looks at me, hurt. 'Not hit! Degey (His way of saying Gagey) love pat, mom.." He continues to give her 'love pats'. Then he pauses, and squeezes her arm. Mom says, "Gagey! Thats a nice love squeeze!"
"Love, sweeze? Hmm.... Num (Ephraim) love sweeze?" He moves moms arms from around baby E and ever so gently, squeezes baby's arm... Sweetest thing I've seen all day...

I started my grade 9 math book this week... So far I have done 2 lessons... And I have learned nothing... Not that I'm not retaining it, they just haven't taught me anything new yet... I wish they would just skip to the part where we start learning... Maybe I would think diferently about the review if I had waited over summer before starting the new book...

Apparently I like using the ellipse... It is the only punctuation I have used this whole post...

Gam and Gamp are coming tomorrow...

This is getting really random and hard to follow so I am going to be done....

My new favourite song

On Saturday me and Sloan babysat for a family from our church. The whole time we were there they had the christian radio station on. During the 5 hours, this song came on twice. Then I came home and youtubed it :) It's my new favourite... And I think Lincoln Brewster is my new favourite artist. (But I didn't really have a favourite before) Actually, /Let The Praises Ring/ was one of my favourites when I was about 6 :)

Charter just told me that when he has lots of money in his back account, he's going to buy all of my belongings off of me.... Including my laptop and camera.... And if the cost to much for him to pay by himself, he's going to make Mollen chip in...

10 bits of info

When ever Gramps calls, he always starts by saying, "Tell me 10 new things I don't know yet!" So, this post is for you Gramps ;)

1. Granny gave us her ice cream maker.
2. It actually make good ice cream.
3. Since Granny has been here she has taken me to two violin lessons and one performance.
4. It was 18 degrees today... Sooooo nice.
5. I got a new shirt today. It is green and tan plaid.
6. I'm writing a story.
7. Its about a mouse who is afraid of mice.
8. When its done i will post one chapter a day for how ever many days it takes to post the whole story.
9. Ephraim is cute.
10. I'm cheating a little bit so I'll post 5 extra.
11. I wish I didn't tell you I was posting five extra because now I'm having trouble thinking of 5 extra. But I promised.
12. From what I'm hearing from downstairs, Granny is beating Charter at Wii golf.
13. Ephraim is cute. Wait, I already said that... hmm. Gage is cute.
14. My bedroom glows a golden yellow glow when the summer sun beats in the window... It makes me feel happy.
15. This is my last one. Just kidding, I'll write something real. I'm going through a growth spurt. YESSSSSS!

Ok, bonus bit of info: Apparently, The ice cream maker also makes slushies.... We made coke flavour.

Lettuce and cheese

I must be going through a growth spurt, because yesterday, I was starving all day... After eating 3 helpings of shepards pie, and some other snacks, I finally decided to make myself a salad... Lettuce, peppers and cheese. Gage instantly decided that it was "his" salad. He grabbed a fork out of the kitchen and started eating heaping forkfulls of lettuce and cheese, spitting some of the lettuce back into my bowl. (apparently he just liked the cheese) I didn't really like the fact that half my salad had been regurgitated by someone other than me, so I got him his own bowl and put some salad in it. All of a sudden, he starts screaming bloody murder at me, the most high pitched scream you ever heard, and franticly forking the salad back into my bowl and eating it. He kept dropping little bits of cheese, but picking them up and throwing them into my bowl. If I tried to help pick up the cheese, he would scream and flail his arms until I stopped...

Umm, lets put the rest of the salad into the fridge for later...

Delicious treats...

Ephraim is delicious... More delicious than cake...So delicious, that I want to hold him all day... And gaze into his deep blue eyes, and smell his baby barf breath... And smile at him, and watch him smile at me... And talk back to him when he 'oooh' and 'ahhh's at me...
And say, "Boo" at him, to make him jump before he realizes that what I just did was funny, and falls into fits of smiles... And if I'm lucky, maybe fits of squeaky giggles...

He is beautiful.... And smart... And delicious....

And he is almost ready to sit in his 'bumbo' chair...

Did I mention he's *cute* ?
