Granny:  I an junketing around-the-clock Vancouver situation the parking group.

Uhhh... That was weird...

Me: Hi granny!

Granny: Hi! Whisky there? Haha I neanmoins whos there?

Me: Cairo... Mom doesn't text with this number anymore because she got an iphone.

Granny: i mean

Me: Your phone is being weird today, hey? haha

Granny: How?

Uh... Nothing...

Me: The spellcheck!

Granny: O... Mu spellcheck. Crazy. I an on a bus. in Vancouver

Me: Fun! Are you spending the night there?

Granny: What the? No... on the est home

Est?

Me: Oh... Where you just in Vancouver for the day?

Expecting an answer such as, "yes" or "no, we came over yesterday"

Granny: Ors Mike or gants go speal spanish. Yes. With the walking group.

Walking group? What happened to your parking group? Who's Mike?

Granny: Nice pics from the wedding... Running out of battery.

dressing up

I found this pretty dress...
I wanted to get a pretty dress to wear for my cousins wedding next week...
Only thing is, I'm not sure this is the perfect dress..
Its not really expensive, but since its so fancy, I don't know how often I'll wear it... (Other than my other cousins wedding in the fall...)
I hate making decisions...

Ephraim's Favourite Things

Ephraim's favourite things are as follows:

Mommy
Sitting on Mommy's lap
Snuggling mommy
When Mommy holds him and no one else tries to take him away
Snacks
"Glurglur" (Water)
Playing outside
Wearing Daddy's shoes
Typing on the computer.

That's about it. Notice how I'm not on that list? He *likes* me, I just don't make the faves list.
Today, Ephraim had probably one of the best moments of his young life.
He sat on Mommy's lap, no one tried to take him away or bug him. (That in itself is cause for celebration!) But, he was not only sitting on mommy's lap undisturbed, he was sitting on Mommy's lap in the backyard with the wind blowing in his face... eating a snack and drinking a cup of 'glurglur'...
He looked pretty pleased sitting there, but I'm pretty sure I heard him say, "Pass the size 12s and laptop, please"

Dreams

Half a year I posted a dream. Today I'm posting another dream I had the other night. This one is weirder.

Ok, so in my dream I was hired by president Barak Obama to nanny his two daughters. (In my dream, the girls were younger than they are in real life... They were about 3 and 5. )
So, I was taking care of them in their fancy nursery in the White House, when Mr. Obama walks in. I don't remember what the girls were doing at that moment, but it upset the president. He took a wooden spoon (Where did he get the spoon? I don't know. It was a dream) and hit each of the girls on each of their cheeks. The girls burst into tears and ran to me (I was also almost in tears, horrified at what had just happened)
Mr. President was still pretty angry, and said to me, "When you are around they should behave. They get double punishment." He then took each girl from me and hit each of their cheeks with the wooden spoon again.
The President then stormed out of the room leaving me to care for the girls who were sobbing and clinging to me while their cheeks swelled up by the second. I treated the swelling with potato peels (??) and put the girls in their pajamas.
Then I woke up.

What in the world is that all about?! Why was I babysitting for President Obama? I don't know. It was a dream.

Shoot... My internet just shut down and erased my whole post.
